With a busy family we all lose track of appointments and such more often than not. Instead of trying to keep up and remember it all, post a blank calendar on your refrigerator. Family members can write in any appointments, games, parties, or anything else that needs to be worked around. Its a live calendar that is constantly updated. You can take those schedules and enter them onto your computer calendar, your phone, or anywhere else you use to keep track. You can do this weekly or monthly. To keep from wasting paper try using a small dry erase board. No matter what you choose you will never miss out or double book again.
How do you keep track of all the happenings in your family? Share them with us.

I love calendars...I have a ton...wall calendars, desk calendars, pocket calendars, pda's... The thing I hated about calendars was having to write each family member's events in different colors, just to be able to differentiate - and the inevitable always happens - either write it in the wrong color, or lose the pens... The absolute best calendar in my house is not the typical calendar that has boxes for each day (try and find a calendar that has boxes big enough to fit each family member's events...) It actually has the days listed down the side, and there are usually 5 columns...I found a picture of the one I have for this year here: www.calendars.com/xq/asp/MGID.-1/IID.46415/TTID.10/gAffInfo._Exact/qx/display_other_product_views.htmEach family member has their own column, and this way, everything is organized, and you can see what events are going on at a glance... With only 4 of us in the family, the last column is for "events" - where I list birthdays, family outings, etc. I have to admit though..it took me awhile to get used to the format of the calendar, but now, I absolutely love this style! ;D

I love the idea of a calendar like that. Haven't seen one until now. That would be great for me just on the business end but even better to have 2 - one business, one family. Wonder if they have a Hello Kitty one?
